The New York Islanders will have new branding on their helmets when they take the ice this NHL season.
Jackpocket, a third-party app that allows users to order state lottery tickets, expanded its partnership with the Islanders. Now, Jackpocket becomes the “Official Home Helmet Partner” of the Islanders. As such, the company will incorporate its logo during all regular season and playoff home games during the 2022-23 season.
To commemorate the arrangement in the world’s largest media market, Jackpocket is allowing users to use the code “ICE” at checkout to receive a free New York Lottery ticket.

The Islanders will also feature Jackpocket on the team’s Digitally Enhanced Dasherboards during Islanders home games and select road broadcasts. Jackpocket will receive two minutes of airtime that will be integrated into game action.
All live broadcasts of Islanders home games will take place within the now-dubbed Jackpocket Radio Booth. In addition, Jackpocket will feature 40 concourse activations during home games to give fans a chance to win merchandise. Fans will also become eligible to land suite-level UBS Club tickets and other prizes via giveaways on the Jackpocket app.
“The Islanders are such a true-blue (and orange!) New York institution, which makes us elated to announce our continuing partnership,” Jackpocket founder and CEO Peter Sullivan said in the release. “We’re also very proud to be the official digital lottery courier for all live events at the UBS Arena, where we look forward to providing an easy way to order lottery tickets from the convenience of a smartphone for all fans and visitors to the arena.”
Added Islanders co-owner Jon Ledecky:
“We are thrilled to continue our collaboration with Jackpocket by adding them as the official sponsor of our home helmets for our historic 50th anniversary season. Jackpocket is a trusted partner, and we could not be more excited for the ways that we are working together to evolve our digital and game day experiences for our loyal fans.”
Jackpocket continues to deepen NY Lottery roots
Just over a year ago, Jackpocket made history by becoming the first online lottery service to launch in New York. The app allows NY Lottery users to order tickets for draw games such as Powerball, Mega Millions and Cash4Life.
Since that January 2021 debut, Jackpocket has continued to partner up with premier New York partners.
In spring 2021, for example, Jackpocket became an official mobile lottery partner of the New York Racing Association. Just a few months later, a similar deal emerged with the New York Jets. And just this summer, the New York Mets named Jackpocket an official digital lottery partner.
During that same time, Jackpocket and the Islanders partnered up to order $50,000 in tickets on behalf of full-season ticketholders, staff and the Islanders Children’s Foundation for the $1.3 billion Mega Millions drawing.
