FanDuel continues to run laps around its competition in New York.
The NY online sports betting operator established new personal NY highs in both market share (47%) and revenue share (89.1%) during the week of June 13-19.
FanDuel Sportsbook contributed $124.9 million of the $265.6 million in combined online sports betting handle from June 13-19. According to the NYS Gaming Commission, the sports betting app also contributed $12.4 million of the Empire State’s $13.9 million in total gross gaming revenue (GGR).
Handle was up 7% from the previous week when operators posted a NY-low of $248.2 million (though they also generated $21.7 million in total GGR).
Since its Jan. 8 launch, FanDuel NY has generated $3.2 billion in handle (39.4%) and $262.2 million in revenue (45.5%).
DraftKings was second in revenue share from June 13-19 at 7.8% ($1.1 million). Meanwhile, Caesars had its first losing week on the revenue side (negative-$962k). Overall, DraftKings has a 24.5% handle share and a 23% revenue share from Jan. 8-June 19.
Meanwhile, NY online sports betting operators have combined for $8.2 billion in handle, $576.8 million in total GGR and $294.2 million in tax revenue for the state (51% rate) since Jan. 8 launch.
NY is about $280.9 million in handle away from its sixth straight month, eclipsing the $1 billion mark.
