Super Bowl Watch Party New York

The big day has neared arrival: Super Bowl LVI is upon us.

Across the country, viewers will gather together Sunday to take in the festivities at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Certainly in New York, fans will convene at Super Bowl watch parties to see pregame coverage, opening kickoff, a star-studded halftime show and potentially (hopefully) a memorable finish to the NFL championship.

But say you’d rather not watch the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals compete for the Lombardi Trophy at a friend’s house. Maybe those individuals are a little too passionate, to put it nicely, or it’s just not enjoyable with so much chit-chat. At the same time, you might not want to stay home alone to take in the final game of the NFL season.

Well, a weekend or day trip upstate may be in the cards. Perhaps to one of the four commercial casinos in New York? Good news, those locations have special plans in store for the big game.

DraftKings Big Game Special at del Lago

Over at del Lago Resort & Casino, patrons can grab a seat for the Super Bowl and seemingly as much food as their stomachs can handle.

For $75 a person, visitors to del Lago can take advantage of the DraftKings Big Game Special. The deal includes a seat and all-you-can-eat helpings of:

  • Chicken wings
  • Beef sliders
  • Flatbread pizza
  • Voodoo Shrimp
  • Buffalo chicken dip

What’s more, del Lago will feature various drink specials and super deals on Labatt beverages. That includes $5 20-ounce Labatt Blue and Labatt Blue Light in a souvenir cup as well as $20 buckets of five bottles of Labatt Blue, Labatt Blue Light or Labatt Seltzers.

VIP Super Bowl at Rivers Casino

While not open to the general public, Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady will stage a VIP-only Super Bowl party.

On top of that, all guests can take advantage of several specials as they watch and bet on big game at the sportsbook.

  • Flipt Big Game Specials: 10 bone-in chicken wings with blue cheese dressing, carrots and celery or Twin Beef Sliders served with candied bacon jam and smokehouse onion cheese and fries, each for $10.
  • Johnny’s To Go Big Game Special: Buffalo Chicken Stromboli, a creamy buffalo chicken dip rolled in pizza dough and finished with scallion sour cream dressing for just $8.
  • Van Slyck’s Big Game Specials: Bud, Bud Light, Bud Light Seltzer and Michelob Ultra cans for $4 or Bud Light and Michelob Ultra drafts for $3.

Drawings and prizes galore at Tioga Downs

Tioga Downs Casino Resort won’t hold an organized Super Bowl party, but the property still expects a big crowd at both the retail FanDuel Sportsbook and Coasters Sports Bar.

To further celebrate the big game, the casino will have cash drawings and other prizes in FanDuel, complementing the food and drink specials.

Speaking of the retail sportsbook, in-person bets of at least $10 placed at FanDuel and on the Super Bowl moneyline will earn an entry form for a chance to win up to $1,000 cash.

Resorts World Catskills with drink specials and giveaways

Throughout the property on Sunday, Resorts World Catskills will offer $3 Coors Light and Bud Light drafts all day while also giving away prizes when customers wager on the Super Bowl at the Sportsbook 360.

This all serves as nice complements to the first Super Bowl betting day in the NY online sports betting era. The only question is, which casino will it be?
