Looking For The Best Monday Night Football Props? These NY Sportsbooks Have You Covered

Written By Grant Lucas on September 26, 2022

It has been some time since the New York Giants maintained relevancy in the NFL, let alone in the NFC East.

Under the lights of Monday Night Football, they have a chance to thrust themselves atop both standings. And against the rival Dallas Cowboys, no less.

Only two teams remain with perfect 3-0 records, one of them being the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFC East. In their first primetime game of the 2022 NFL season, the Giants can move to 3-0 for the first time since 2009.

Going up against an injury-plagued and depleted Cowboys team, the Giants are already off to the team’s best start in six years — the last time the G-Men qualified for the postseason. And for Monday Night Football, New York sportsbooks have a bountiful list of betting props for bettors in the Empire State.

DraftKings NY expects low scoring, but will MNF actually be?

Over their past 13 home games, the Giants have not seen much scoring in relation to the pregame over/under total. In fact, 12 of those 13 games have finished on the under, according to DraftKings Sportsbook NY.

Yes, Dallas has struggled to find the end zone so far this season, with just two TDs that unsurprisingly ranks last in the league. And New York isn’t among the first teams you think of in terms of high-scoring units. Plus, all four games involving the Cowboys and Giants this season have hit the under.

That said, when Dallas and New York square off, fireworks have flown. The two rivals have hit the over in three of the past five games against one another. Something about the NFC East brings out the best in each other. So seeing this get to the DraftKings’ over/under of  points.

Running back props to find at FanDuel NY

It seems as if Saquon Barkley is back on track for the Giants, the leading rusher in the NFL with 118 yards per game. On the flip side, Ezekiel Elliott is still looking to return to form.

But as noted, something about the Giants inspires Dallas to be at their best. Including Elliott.

In 10 career games against New York, the Cowboys running back has averaged 82.7 yards per game while scoring eight TDs. He’s hit pay dirt in each of the past four contests against the Giants.

And with QB Dak Prescott still sidelined with an injury, Elliott expects to shoulder much of the offensive load. Even with New York stacking the box, what with Dallas also having a relatively limited receiving corp, Elliott should get enough touches to top the  yards set by FanDuel Sportsbook NY.

Conversely, Barkley has been the hottest running back in the league thus far. Two weeks after popping off for 164 yards and a TD against Tennessee, Barkley looks to take advantage of a Dallas rush defense that has allowed over 120 yards per game. FanDuel New York set his over/under at  yards, and you can bet on Barkley to score the Giants’ first touchdown at +250 odds.

Best One Game Parlay with BetMGM NY

On Monday night, both the Giants and Cowboys will look to control the clock and set the tone with their rush attacks. Meaning both Barkley and Elliott should get ample touches.

And if the trend continues of relatively high scoring between the two rivals, BetMGM Sportsbook NY has a One Game Parlay just for you.

Bettors in New York can find odds of +500 for Elliott and Barkley to each score a TD on Monday while the game goes over 39.5 points. If all three legs hit, a $100 bet will turn into $500 in profit.

If you don’t trust Elliott as much, you can find a parlay involving Barkley finding the end zone at any time, the total hitting the over and the Giants to win outright with a line of +400.

The New York Giants have an opportunity to make it clear that they are a force to be reckoned with in the NFC East, a division the team has not won in over a decade while the other three members have claimed at least three titles each.

Against the rival Dallas Cowboys, the Giants can get a sweet two-for-one victory. And New York bettors can get in on the action.
