FanDuel Sportsbook NY promo code: No Sweat First Bet up to $1,000

With two AFC West rivals ready to match up on Thursday Night Football, FanDuel Sportsbook NY is ready to reward new users.

Bettors who sign up and create an account with FanDuel New York can make an initial deposit of at least $10. Once complete, the FanDuel NY promo will trigger. All you have to do then is make your first real-money wager on any event, such as Thursday’s showdown between the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs.

If your bet wins, you obviously win. If it loses, FanDuel NY will refund your account in the amount you wagered up to $1,000.

That credit will come up in the form of site credits as opposed to bonus bets. What’s the difference? If you receive a $100 bonus bet, you have to use it as one $100 wager. With $100 in site credits, however, you can make multiple, smaller bets adding up to $100. These credits will expire 14 days after they are received.

On top of that, NY sports betting users can place a same-game parlay on Thursday Night Football of at least three legs with odds of +400 or larger. If that bet loses, again FanDuel NY will refund your account up to $10.

Thursday Night Football best bet: Mahomes over, Herbert under

It’s a battle of top AFC Championship contenders, of two AFC West rivals jockeying for the division title, of two premier quarterbacks in the NFL.

And at home, QB Patrick Mahomes could go off against the Chargers.

Coming off a 360-yard, five-touchdown performance at the Arizona Cardinals, Mahomes enters Thursday Night Football with an over/under of  passing yards.

Granted, the AFC West is one of two divisions that Mahomes averages less than 300 yards in his career. And only a handful of times has he surpassed that total against the Chargers. However, in his last meeting against Los Angeles in 2021, Mahomes erupted for 410 yards.

He has a primetime tight end in Travis Kelce (121 yards last week) and two receivers who could be No. 1 targets almost anywhere else: JuJu Smith-Schuster (79 yards) and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (44). Historically, too, Mahomes has been most productive in the first four games of the season, averaging nearly 319 yards through the air.

As for QB Justin Herbert, who had the most 300-yard games last season, he will likely be without top receiver Keenan Allen, who injured his hamstring a week ago. In addition, Kansas City shut down the Cardinals last week, allowing a mere 179 yards passing. With an over/under of passing yards, the under appears enticing.
