Jackpocket launched its application to allow players to buy lottery tickets through their mobile devices in New York earlier this year. The third-party lottery app has now teamed up with Circle K to increase brand exposure and to offer players exclusive perks.
Circle K and Jackpocket originally teamed up for a pilot program in Austin, Texas back in 2020. This expanded partnership will extend to over one thousand Circle K stores across multiple states including Arkansas, Colorado, New Hampshire, Ohio, Texas and New York.
Circle K and Jackpocket partnership is mutually beneficial
Customers who visit participating Circle Ks around the nation will be introduced to the Jackpocket brand through signs and banners in and around the store. New customers will receive a unique promo code from Circle K that will give them $5 off of their first mobile order through the Jackpocket mobile app.
New York Lottery players who use the Jackpocket app will gain access to exclusive deals and coupons to redeem at local Circle K locations. Circle K’s Chief Marketing Officer Kevin Lewis spoke about the partnership in a press release earlier this month:
“Our partnership with Jackpocket is just one of the many ways that Circle K continues to innovate and enhance our customers’ experience with the brand. We’re excited that this new venture will give our customers a fun, exclusive and seamless way to order official state lottery tickets with just a tap of a button, and also give them access to deals on our exciting products. It is all part of our mission to make our customers’ lives a little easier every day.”
This partnership should bring in plenty of new customers to Jackpocket while also generating foot traffic for Circle K locations thanks to the exclusive discounts.
Jackpocket continues to make big moves in New York
Jackpocket teamed up with the New York Racing Association earlier this year. The lottery app allowed customers to enter the promo code “PONIES” to receive a free lottery ticket. As a part of the partnership with the NYRA, Jackpocket has also been sponsoring races at Belmont Park, Saratoga Race Course and the Aquaduct Racetrack.
The third-party mobile app allows residents in New York the opportunity to buy lotto tickets from your smart phone — including the popular Mega Millions, Powerball, and Win 4 lotteries. Jackpocket has reported that its users have won over $50 million in lottery prizes including four individuals who have earned cash prizes of $1 million or more.
