A Freeport-based trust has claimed a $3 million top prize on a New York Lottery scratch-off ticket.

According to the New York Lottery, the Ronald Stuckey Revocable Trust of Freeport claimed the top prize on the $3,000,000 Bonus Stars game. The prize was taken as a one-time lump sum payment of $1,334,553 after required withholdings.

The winning ticket was sold at Torres Deli & Grocery, 84A Broadway in Freeport.

One top prize remained on Bonus Stars

At the time of the Lottery’s announcement, one $3 million top prize remained on the $3,000,000 Bonus Stars scratch-off game.

For players, that is the clearest update tied to the game itself: one top prize had already been claimed by the Freeport trust, and one was still available as of publication. The Lottery did not provide additional details about the claimant beyond the name of the trust.

Scratch-offs remain a major revenue source for New York Lottery

The winner announcement also included broader scratch-off and education funding figures from the New York Lottery’s 2025-2026 fiscal year.

The Lottery said scratch-off games generated $4,267,988,982 in total sales during fiscal year 2025-2026. It also said school districts in Nassau County received $225,346,777 in Lottery Aid to Education during that period.

Statewide, the New York Lottery said it contributed $3.6 billion in fiscal year 2025-2026 to benefit public schools.

Those figures do not change the outcome of this specific claim, but they show the scale of scratch-off sales and the education funding figures the Lottery ties to its operations.

Readers looking for more on this game may want to watch future New York Lottery updates for any change in the number of remaining top prizes. As always, lottery games are games of chance, and players should gamble responsibly.
