FanDuel has been named the first official and exclusive sportsbook and prediction market partner of Real App, a deal that will bring live odds and contextual betting markets into Real’s sports experience starting with the 2026 NFL season.
According to the announcement, FanDuel odds, markets and related visualizations will appear across Real game feeds, play-level views, player performance screens, team box scores and other real-time surfaces. Real said links tied to key game moments will direct eligible users to the applicable FanDuel experience.
What the FanDuel-Real partnership includes
Real co-founder Louis Antonelli said users have already been using the app to track and discuss bets in real time and had been asking for live odds. He said partnering with FanDuel adds a new layer of real-time sports data for members interested in betting.
The companies said the integration is scheduled to begin at the start of the 2026 NFL season. The announcement did not specify which jurisdictions will have access at launch or what prediction market products will be included.
Real described itself as a fast-growing live social sports app with 1.1 million daily active users and 1.5 million monthly active users across 18 leagues. The company also said users spent 4.8 billion minutes on the app over the last 12 months, and that it sends 50 million notifications per day.
What it means for players
For users, the practical change is that betting-related information is expected to appear directly inside Real’s live sports environment rather than requiring a separate search for odds during games. At the same time, both companies said the features will be optional and can be turned off in Real app settings.
That opt-out point is notable because the partnership is designed to place betting content alongside live sports discussion and game tracking. FanDuel President Christian Genetski said the companies want to make FanDuel a “natural part” of how fans follow and engage with sports.
What to watch next
The main milestone is the start of the 2026 NFL season, when the initial integration is expected to go live. Readers will likely need to wait for additional details on market availability, eligible locations and the exact prediction market products included. FanDuel also said it promotes responsible gaming and offers tools to help customers set limits and engage safely.
