FanDuel is rolling out a new sportsbook Rewards Club, expanding its Bet Protect+ feature to NFL wagers, and adding more in-app research tools for the 2026 football season.

The operator said the updates are designed to give customers more flexibility inside the sportsbook app. For bettors in regulated markets such as New York, the biggest practical changes are a new monthly loyalty system, a paid injury-protection option on NFL player props, and added data tools on game and player pages.

Rewards Club adds a new monthly loyalty system

According to FanDuel, Rewards Club is a points-based program that lets sportsbook customers unlock levels as they wager during a given month.

The company said the program will include daily promotions, weekly reward choices, milestone challenges, and Rewards Boxes that contain surprise reward tokens. FanDuel framed the launch as part of a broader push to give customers more choice during football season.

Karol Corcoran, managing director of sports at FanDuel, said in a statement that the company is aiming to give customers “more control of their experience” this NFL season.

Bet Protect+ expands to NFL player prop bets

FanDuel also said it is extending Bet Protect+ to NFL wagers after what it described as strong customer engagement with the feature during the NBA Playoffs and WNBA season.

Bet Protect+ costs 3% of a wager and applies full-game injury protection to NFL player prop bets. If a protected player leaves because of injury and does not return, FanDuel said straight bets will receive a cash refund, while parlay legs will be removed and recalculated.

The company added that customers can auto opt in to Bet Protect+ for the NFL season and that the feature can be used on bets funded with Bonus Bets. FanDuel also said its My Bets page will display impacted wagers in real time once an injury is confirmed, with real-time cash settlement.

FanDuel adds more in-app research features

FanDuel said its Game Intelligence offering will include player game logs, recent-performance views, and team statistics. Later in the season, it plans to add player prop trends, player favoriting, injury reports, league rankings, and Ask AceAI.

FanDuel described Ask AceAI as a conversational AI assistant that can provide stats, show available markets, and add selections to a bet slip.

The company did not provide exact launch dates for those later-season tools or specify market-by-market availability for the NFL version of Bet Protect+ in the announcement. As those details become clearer, New York bettors may want to review the terms and eligibility rules before using any optional sportsbook features. As always, gamble responsibly.
