“Resorts World Hudson Valley represents a shared vision that we, along with our partners in Orange County, had to create an entertainment destination that will attract hundreds of thousands of guests and visitors,” Robert DeSalvio, president of Genting Americas East, said in a press release, “while providing tremendous benefits to the local, regional and statewide community.

Located at the Newburgh Mall just 60 miles outside Manhattan, Resorts World Hudson Valley will open in time to ring in the new year.

With a 10 a.m. opening, the VLT will feature plenty of gaming and entertainment opportunities for visitors.

Third Resorts World casino set to open doors

By now, New York is well-acquainted with the Resorts World brand, owned by Genting.

Upstate, Resorts World Catskills operates as one of the state’s four commercial land-based casinos. Closer to the big city, Resorts World NYC expects to enter the fray soon, as many consider the property as one of the frontrunners to land one of three downstate NY casino licenses.

Of course, the brand also boasts one of nine New York sports betting apps. Resorts WorldBet launched as an online sportsbook in March.

Now, the Hudson Valley property is ready to get in on the action.
