Jerry Ferrara has a new entourage.
The New York native and star of the hit series “Entourage” has joined the BetMGM Sportsbook team as a celebrity brand ambassador for the NY sports betting brand.
As part of his new role, Ferraro will co-host a new BetMGM weekly sports podcast called “Unleashed,” while also starring in various marketing campaigns and fan events.
“Jerry Ferrara is a talented actor and a passionate sports fan,” Matt Prevost, chief revenue officer for BetMGM, said in a press release. “We’re looking forward to creating unique content for our podcast and other BetMGM-related opportunities that we believe sports fans will love.”

Born in Brooklyn and raised in Bensonhurst, the man who rose to fame as “Turtle” holds several NY pro teams close to his heart.
The New York Yankees, New York Knicks and New York Giants all are held in high regard by Ferrara, a fandom that carried over to his character in “Entourage.”
“As a diehard sports fan, I couldn’t be more excited about legalized sports betting and having the opportunity to partner with an industry leader like BetMGM,” Ferrara said in the BetMGM press release.
“It’s an honor to be the first BetMGM ambassador to co-host Unleashed and I’m excited to share my passion and knowledge with fellow sports fans.”
Ferrara, who has also appeared in a number of other TV shows and movies, also hosts the podcast “Bad 4 Business” that features athletes and actors.
BetMGM continues to deepen NY sports betting roots
Ferrara becomes another familiar face that New York fans recognize as part of the BetMGM New York team of ambassadors.
For example, former NBA players Kevin Garnett (Brooklyn Nets) and Jalen Rose (New York Knicks) are part of BetMGM. As are a couple of former NFL running backs: Chris Johnson (New York Jets) and Marshawn Lynch (Buffalo Bills).
And, of course, the Great One, as Wayne Gretzky (New York Rangers) teamed with BetMGM in June 2021.
