Corey Sharp joined Catena Media in 2022 and now serves as the lead writer for PlayNY. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Corey covers the New York sports betting industry as well as land-based casino gaming and legislative attempts to legalize online casinos in New York.
Corey has covered the Pennsylvania market for several years, on the heels of previously writing for the Philadelphia Inquirer and NBC Sports Philadelphia.
A graduate of Holy Family University in Philadelphia, Corey lives in the City of Brotherly Love and staunchly supports every professional sports team in the city: 76ers, Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers.
