Chumba Changing Payment Options Up On June 30

Hands shuffling cards

Times, they are a changing, for both Chumba Casino and Global Poker. The two sites are owned by the same parent company, VGW RMG Malta Limited. And both are about to undergo big changes when it comes to deposits and withdrawals.

Chumba welcomes Worldpay

Chumba Casino is welcoming a new payment partner. The company is called Worldpay and it is responsible for over 40 billion transactions each year.

Worldpay is one of the biggest players in the global payment space. How big? Well, they work with 300 different payment options.

Currently, Chumba offers Facebook’s internal payment system and Paypal. However, thanks to Worldpay, players can now deposit onto the site using both Visa and Mastercard.

There will be more payment options in the coming months for Chumba. The two credit cards are just the beginning. CEO of Chumba Casino  Laurence Escalante elaborated on the Worldpay partnership in a press release:

“One thing our customers have made clear to us is that they would like more choice when it comes to payment methods,” Mr Escalante said. “Worldpay’s extensive network and vast expertise allow us to give our players this choice.”

“With Worldpay we have the ability to offer a range of payment solutions to our customers including credit card payments, as well as e-wallet and mobile options. This means our customers can interact with us in whatever way is most convenient to them.”

Get ready to say goodbye to Paypal

While Worldpay is making itself at home, a common payment option for Chumba players is going way. The company will cease working with Paypal on June 30.

The same goes for Global Poker, who sent out an email about the change. Explaining why the popular option was going away, the company said it was about a long-term goal of offering more payment options for the customer base.

In other words, in order to offer more options to customers down the line, they had to lose out on an option in the short-term. However, with the Worldpay partnership, expect more credit cards and e-wallets as options at both Chumba and Global in the future.

Chumba still online casino option for US players

Chumba is unique when it comes to online casinos because it readily accepts customers from the majority of states in the US, including New York.

The site is able to do this thanks to its unique structure, which utilizes two virtual currencies players can use.

Players on Chumba can purchase Gold Coins with American dollars. With those purchases, and through other offers on the casino site, players can also rack up Sweeps Cash, which can also be used to play certain Chumba casino games.

Want to cash out your bounty of Gold Coins? No problem. The Coins convert back to cash and players can withdraw them in the form of USD.

Be aware there are some limitations to withdrawing, such as minimum withdrawals. Additionally, Chumba utilizes an identity verification process to ensure your cashout is safe and secure, be it on a Visa or via your Facebook account.
